Vice President of Global Sales & Distribution

As the Vice President Sales & Global Distribution for MOON Selfie Inc., you are responsible for successfully launching and growing the MOON brand across the globe utilizing select distribution partners and channels. This role offers the opportunity to guide our expansion and replicate successful results and systems across the new markets we enter.

At MOON you will:

  • Development of brand launch and sales strategy in the defined distribution markets
  • Responsible for proactively driving and stretching distributors against targets; revenue, product listings, range expansion and depth of distribution
  • Work in close partnership with appointed distribution partners to determine and agree on go-to-market launch plans
  • Set and achieve revenue and profit targets for each distributor
  • Develop distributor contract strategy that best supports revenue and profit targets
  • Attend retailer meeting with distributors in order to add value and impact to presentations
  • Produce compelling product and brand presentations
  • Transfer brand values and best practice from our direct markets to ensure success and consistency across distribution markets
  • Manage day to day running of MOON’s business with the distributors
  • Prospection, contract negotiation, and appointment of new distribution partners
  • Work closely with internal functions: Marketing, Operations, & Finance
  • Responsible for providing up to date and accurate forecasting, including provisions for events and promotional campaigns
  • Work with distributors to establish an appropriate pricing strategy
  • Gather insights on market trends and competitor activity in each market to influence future product development
  • Demonstrate and develop best practices in International Business Development
  • Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, and other MOON events as required

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5-8 years of successful sales management and executive experience (experience with a distributed workforce is also a plus)
  • Proven experience managing growing teams and developing corporate culture while overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
  • MBA/advanced degree preferred, but not required
  • Understand and fully embrace our go-to-market approach and mentality
  • Experience of working in International retail and distribution sales channels
  • An outstanding communicator who can effectively manage multiple stakeholders with a natural ability to connect with others
  • Previous experience in the consumer goods industry is preferred, but not required
  • Experience of building sales and marketing strategy by market
